Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

Hello
Welcome to Journey Massage Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I have 20+ years experience in the massage industry. I have worked in various settings-massage centered studio, spa, chiropractic, PT clinic, retreats, and gyms. I use an integrative approach to provide my clients with a one-on-one personal client centered experience.
My Story
I am originally from the PNW (Pacific Northwest) and moved to Colorado in 1998. In 2000, after a year long recovery from a back injury (muscle spasm), I decided I wanted to learn more about the human body and specifically the musculoskeletal system. While working in the corporate world and a short time living in London, I researched massage schools in Colorado. Upon moving back to the US I enrolled in the prestigious Boulder College of Massage Therapy. After a year of intense training totaling over 1000-hours of classes, clinical training, and volunteering, I graduated in 2002 and set out to 'heal the world'.
Twenty years later, I have learned many things and have worked in many settings. Body work is my passion. I have learned there is no 'one size fits all' for a massage. Each person is different and unique in their own way. I listen to each client, and I use different modalities and techniques I have crafted over the years to provide an integrative session for my clients. I am trained in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Massage Cupping, Aromatherapy, and hot stones (Himalayan and basalt).

I love Colorado and the outdoors. I live in Littleton and I am a mom to a fantastic teenage son. In my spare time I like to spend as much time with my son as possible (he's a teenager so you know how that goes), traveling (road trips are my favorite), walking, hiking, camping, cooking, and enjoying the wonderful state of Colorado.
